Emma Avilés will give an introduction to what is happening in Spain regarding the 15M movement and the new political scenario that is unfolding there.
Emma will also talk about Xnet and their experience as part of the underlying fuse for the 15M movement’s explosion: the articulation of struggles in social networks and on the streets, the Internet as a training and empowerment ground, capillary forms of counter-information and self-organisation as well as renewed forms of citizen organisation, new forms of mobilisation and citizen action (swarms and catalysts), technopolitics, empowerment, new narratives & emotions… using the example of 15MpaRato.
